Vedivado is a group of Services. Mostly bulit around web and related services and other computer related works.
The idea of vedivado started at a “joalifathi” somewhere in Fuvahmulah. We were talking about all kinds of things we can do as a business to extend our capabilities and to earn money at the same time. This is the beginning of Vedivado group.

All the vedivado members know each other very well and understand each other. We have been close friends with all the members for more than 5 years. This may be is the reason for the easy coordination between our members.
The name as you can imagine isnt something used in the official Maldivian language. Its a word especially used by the people of Fuvahmulah and Addu.
The name wasnt so hard to comeup with. We just had to pick up something a bit more related to our island.. so its vedivado.

Then came the question of what our services are going to be. It wasn’t hard either. We already had some great people who were good in different fields related to computer and other technological stuff related to web and its related things.

Some of our members were interested in operating an online news paper. This idea was accepted and approved by all our members and that was how vedivado.com was born. Vedivado.com is an online newspaper made to bring the info about the latest news and current affairs of Fuvahmulah.

However, we have faced a lot of constrains making our way through the jungle of journalism. It wasn’t easy for us. There came times when people opposed us and refused to provide information to us because we weren’t registered as an online news provider. This is the reason why vdivado.com has been brought to a hault. We are halfway done with the registration. and,despite the innumerable obstacles, we “will” be back with the news section soon.

It occurred to us that when there comes delegation of authority and hierarchy of power and position, there comes a lot of UN-avoidable situations where we forget how close the people are to us and how important they are in real life. Thats the reason why you cant see the personals related to seperate departments. May be, just may be when we extend and when it becomes necessary by any means, we ‘will’ make job titles and assign it to the suitable personals.
